add it to whatever I am cooking just before it is done. I feel like I get more nutrition when it is not cooked to long. Not only do we like to add it to our food for the flavor and nutrition, we like it for the health benefits.
Research shows that garlic has properties of antiviral and antibacterial. When we get sick we reach for a syrup made by Dr. Christopher’s called Super Garlic Immune. I like to have this on hand to fight these nasty flu bugs. I take some of this every day just to help me stay healthy. So far so good.
Sometimes our cells need just a little help in absorbing nutrients. Garlic is also known to help improve the metabolism of iron in our cells. Garlic can also be helpful in lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. Studies also show properties of garlic may be helpful as an anti-inflammatory. I know what you are thinking….if I eat garlic I will stink like garlic. My husband eats raw garlic everyday and swears by it. After eating it for a few days he no longer stinks like garlic. So lock your self in the house away from people for a few days and eat your garlic. Just kidding. I use the Super Garlic Immune every day and I haven’t had any problems smelling like garlic. I do have to tell you the Super Garlic Immune isn’t for wimps. It tastes terrible. But if you put it in a little juice and drink it fast it isn’t to bad. Or you can cowboy up and take it straight. The great thing about the Super Garlic Immune is you get the benefit of a lot of other great herbs
I like to use natural products. I don’t like the nasty side affects you can have when you use other products. Sometimes natural things take a little longer. They are not always a quick fix but I personally have had great success with them.
There is a lot of information about garlic out there. I love the fact that we grew our own and know exactly what where it came from. Right now our garlic is under a couple of feet of snow. I am looking forward to it popping up in the spring.
