Some gardeners have long growing seasons, some have short growing seasons. Some have great dirt and some have sand, clay and other types of challenges.
WEEDS
One thing all gardeners have in common is we all have weeds!
Now a weed to one person may be an herb to another. I have to admit sometimes I hesitate when I dig up a weed, because I really like plants that are good for us. But I have to remind myself, if it is not growing where it is supposed to, then it is a weed. (With a few exceptions)
One year I found wild peppermint growing on the side of the field. I was so excited. I took a shovel and a bucket and retrieved it. BAD IDEA!! I am still battling to get it out of my herb garden. One example of when it is growing where it shouldn’t it is a weed.
Wild plants
Since then I have decided if some plants are growing around me I will leave them. I can always gather what I need while leaving it in the wild.
I am married to a farmer and he really hates weeds. We try to get rid of our weeds using more organic ways. I decided to share some of these ideas with you in a free ebook.
I hope you enjoy your free ebook. Just a little something to say Thank You for joining our group and following me.
